After an extensive and diligent three-year period of rigorous research, fruitful collaboration, open and constructive discussions, the Transcare Project has successfully completed its years of active operation.
In celebration of this significant achievement, the Final Conference was organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the MSc. Global Health – Disaster Medicine program.
This event took place on the afternoon of Friday, June 30, 2023, commencing at 16:00, and it was hosted in the inviting ambiance of the “PLYFA” area.
The primary objective of this conference was to provide a comprehensive overview of the consortium’s notable accomplishments throughout its journey, which included the unveiling of research outcomes and the introduction of the innovative MOOC educational platform.
Furthermore, the conference served as a platform to elucidate the forthcoming steps that will be taken to ensure that the ongoing efforts to create a healthcare system that is genuinely supportive and inclusive for transgender individuals will persistently move forward. This commitment to progress and inclusivity remains resolute and unwavering.
